Caramel Sauce

Absolutely delicious on ice cream! And so easy to make!

Makes 1 – 1/4 cups

• 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup of water
• 1/2 cup of heavy cream
• 3 Tbs of butter
• 1/2 tsp of kosher salt


Bring sugar and 1/4 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan over medium/high heat, stirring to dissolve sugar, Boil, swirling pan occasionally until mixture turns a deep amber color, 8-10 minutes. Remove from the heat and slowly add in the cream, return to medium heat and cook until smooth about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and salt. Use right away or let cool at room temperature, pour into a jar with an airtight lid and store up to 1 month. YUM!
