My very favorite cooking utensil is my cast iron skillet. It’s my mom’s, she had several and gave me the largest one. I use it for EVERYTHING. It has a totally non-stick finish and this is done by seasoning it. Coat your skillet (new or old) with vegetable oil and put it in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Don’t ever use soap on it, after cooking and as soon as you can, rinse it with hot water. If something is stuck, use a brush and a bit of salt to loosen it. I have accidentally put soap in mine, but all you have to do is re-season it if that happens. I know it will become your favorite as well!
